Disc Injury and Pain
About Disc Injury
When it comes to bulging, slipped, or herniated discs, our focus is on non-surgical treatment. Our chiropractors are trained to identify the different types of disc injury and pain and treat accordingly. Again, the focus is non-surgical. An estimated 18% of spinal surgeries are successful, meaning the remainder leave the patient with pain or, in the most severe cases, disability.
Non-Surgical Treatment
Disc injury should be treated on a case-by-case basis, meaning multiple attempts should be made to treat the problem non-surgically before going “under the knife”.
Our chiropractors are specially trained to non-surgically treat disc injuries. There are many stress-free treatments to try and relieve disc pain before considering surgery. These include: adjustments, exercises, stretches, massage, and nutrition changes. Results can be seen much faster than the traditional medical route, and most of the time don’t end in surgery.
